Camp Connell
Nestled under the trees and situated on the banks of the Paluxy River, Camp Connell is a favorite gathering place for many church groups and families. It's conveniently located only minutes from Glen Rose, Granbury, and the Dinosaur Valley State Park. Swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, and hiking are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed as you spend your days playing and worshiping God.
Amenities
- 2 Dorm-Style Bunkrooms with twin bunk beds in each
- Bathroom in each sleeping area
- Meeting room with fireplace, which can also be used as a sleeping area
- Can sleep between 25-50 people (Cots/bunks are not provided for meeting room area)
- Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven
- Central a/c and heat
- Large covered patio can be used during inclement weather
Policies
RATES: One night stay = $100.00 Two night stay = $125.00
Deposits
A deposit of 20% of expected bill is required to reserve the camp. Deposit is due within 10 days of reservation request being submitted. Deposit is refundable up to 14 days before retreat.
Payment
Final payment must be made within 7 days of retreat date.

Reservations
All reservations must be made by submitting a Camp Connell Reservation Form. No Reservation is secured until proper deposits are made and dates are approved.
Directions
FROM FORT WORTH...
Take Highway 377 South to Granbury. Take the Highway 144 Granbury - Glenrose exit off of Highway 377. Take a right-hand turn, get into the left-hand lane and take a left-hand turn at the red light - this will be Highway 51 South to Paluxy. Go approximately 8.5 miles. After crossing the railroad tracks, take the right fork onto 51 South. Go approximately 4.1 miles. Take a left-hand turn onto Edwards Road. Go approximately 3.5 miles and take a right-hand turn into the Camp Connell entrance.
